Ascendum Machinery incorporates Portable Electric's chargers into dealership operations

Ascendum Machinery has partnered with Portable Electric by bringing Voltstack portable and mobile electric construction equipment chargers into the dealership's operations. Ascendum is the second dealership to incorporate Portable Electric's chargers into its operations. This offering is a result of Volvo CE's partnership with Portable Electric, extending its electric equipment chargers through Volvo CE's dealership network.

The partnership will have an initial focus on the U.S. market where Ascendum Machinery's clients will be able to utilize Portable Electric's Voltstack portable and mobile electric construction equipment chargers (e-chargers) and power stations (e-generators).

Ascendum Machinery has represented Volvo Construction Equipment in the United States for over 65 years. Volvo CE leads the industry with its expansive portfolio of commercially available electric construction equipment. Portable Electric previously partnered with Volvo CE to offer its Voltstack 30k Level 2 e-chargers with the purchase of Volvo electric equipment.

Voltstack mobile electric equipment chargers offer a solution for on-site power at construction job sites. The Voltstack e-charger provides a range of charging solutions while serving as a silent, emission-free onsite power source. The Voltstack e-charger can also be hybridized with a fossil fuel generator using the "Smart Hybrid" feature with a fossil fuel generator. This feature allows the Voltstack e-Charger to intelligently activate or deactivate a diesel generator based on the state of charge of the Voltstack e-Charger. As a result, this increases operational ease for construction crews.

Ascendum Machinery and Portable Electric hope that the Voltstack chargers help expedite the adoption of electric construction equipment. With the chargers, contractors can more easily access electric power on job sites that lack the proper infrastructure. Voltstack mobile electric construction equipment chargers, which replace or hybridize with traditional fossil-fuel generators, transform construction job sites with their off-grid, emission-free power supply.
