Emergency eyewash solution

Sperian launched its new sterile saline emergency eyewash solution for the Fen-dall Pure Flow 1000 and for the brand-new Fendall 2000 emergency eyewash stations. The saline, which is 100 percent sterile, offers significant advantages over tap water. Buffered to the same pH as the human eye, the new sterile eyewash solution offers unmatched safety and flushing comfort to the injured. When compared to tap water, research shows that sterile solution offers the best protection from contaminants and bacteria, which could potentially cause secondary trauma to an already-injured eye. Sterile eyewash solution reduces the risk of potential liability if eye injury from flush-ing with contaminated water occurs. Sperian sterile saline solution was designed for the company’s new Fendall 2000 sealed-cartridge portable emergency eyewash station and the Fendall Pure Flow 1000 unit. The 100-percent sterile eyewash solution has a two-year shelf life.
