STANLEY ® Launches FATMAX XTREME® MIG15: The Framing Hammer That Swings Like Titanium But Strikes Like Steel
At just 15-ounces, MIG15 is lighter & faster than conventional framing hammers
STANLEY is proud to introduce the new super-light FATMAX XTREME® MIG15 Framing Hammer to its line of hammers.
At just 15-ounces, the MIG15 is the first lightweight all-steel framing hammer on the market, giving contractors a lightweight solution that combines the best of both worlds – the weight of titanium with the strength of steel.
STANLEY’s use of MIG Weld Technology has enabled it to build a hammer made entirely of steel that is lighter and faster than conventional framing hammers, with the durability and power pro’s demand. “The industry standard has traditionally been hammers as heavy as 28 or even 32-ounces; however, the trend today is towards lighter products overall, including power tools and hand tools,” said Scott Moore, VP of Marketing, Stanley Black & Decker Canada. “Extensive jobsite research and countless conversations with our end users helped our engineering team develop a lighter hammer that not only delivers the power professionals need, but also helps to increase their level of productivity, reduce fatigue and improve comfort".
The STANLEY FATMAX XTREME® MIG15 can handle virtually any professional wood-framing job. Its lighter weight helps to improve control and comfort while also increasing swing speed and strike force.
The MIG15 also features a vibration-dampening grip to further improve user comfort and a magnetic nail holding slot for efficient one-handed nail starting.
The STANLEY FATMAX XTREME® MIG 15 is available with a limited lifetime warranty at industrial contractor retailers and home improvement retailers.
