Demolition excavator reaches up to 92 feet

Liebherr’s R 954 C VH-HD Litronic demolition excavator weighs approximately 160,000 pounds and has a reach of 92 feet (28 m). Working attachments include a 37-foot one-inch (8.8 m) long demolition boom, an eight-foot two-inch (2.5 m) intermediate boom, and a 28-foot (8.55 m) demolition stick. As with all Liebherr demolition excavators, the R 954 C VH-HD Litronic offers a 360-degree operating radius without any limit in stability or reach. Units are equipped with an adjustable undercarriage, and tracks can be adjusted for transport to a width of nine feet nine inches, and then extended to 12 feet 11 inches. It features a specially designed cab with high visibility, heavy-duty window protection as well as ar-moured glass. The new Liebherr demolition control system is an active safety feature that provides information on the machine’s operating angle and automatically activates the electronic reach limitation if a critical limit is reached. Also standard on these demolition excavators is Liebherr’s tool control, which allows operators to easily change hydraulic tools and adjust pressure and flow rates from the control panel in the cab.
