New telehandler has maximum lift capability
The JLG Model 3513PS telehandler features a maximum lift capacity of 3,500 kg with a forward reach of 1.85 m at its maximum lift height of 13 m. It can position 1,000-kg loads to a maximum forward reach of 9.2 m. It is part of a series of nine PS machines that feature a number of improvements designed to enhance overall performance and operator-appeal over the previous 3500 and 4000 Series machines.
The PS Series’ hydraulic system retains the high-output (132 l/min) variable-displacement, load-sensing pump, coupled to a new flow-compensating valve. This gives more responsive and balanced proportional-control for faster cycles, and better use of power, with improved overall efficiency, fuel economy and performance.
The drive train of the previous 3500 and 4000 models, powered by the 74.5kW (100 hp) Perkins 1104.44 Tier II turbo-diesel engines driving through a four-speed power shift transmission, and the main structural components (chassis-frames and booms) remain unchanged, but provision has been made for subsequent update to the new Tier III Perkins engine when it becomes available. The power shift transmission now incorporates a selectable brake-pedal operated de-clutch function with an improved stabilizer/chassis-leveling interlock system to facilitate positioning during loading-out operations.
