Multiquip’s reversible plate compactors consist of 13 models, all of which feature a unique hydraulic reversing mechanism that eliminates old-fashioned linkage adjustments. Units have centrifugal forces ranging from 3,372 pounds to 14,000 pounds and exciter speeds range from 3,600 to 6,000 rpm. These compactors are available with Honda, Yanmar, or Hatz/Subaru engines, and are equipped with a combination tachometer and engine hour meter that provides engine rpm and helps track service intervals and machine usage. Plus, there are no complicated mechanical drive shafts, and units are designed with simple easy-to-use controls and an open-base plate design that allows rocks and dirt to slide off the plate for easy clean-up.
