DELTA Machinery, which introduced the industry’s first and only 10-inch industrial cabinet saw with the UNISAW name in the 1930s, has completely re-engineered and re-designed its flagship table saw. Offered in three left-tilting arbor saw configurations, the new UNISAW will utilize dozens of patent-pending design features and manufacturing processes.
Within the saw’s cabinet, a unique one-piece cast-iron trunnion design results in adjustment controls being positioned together prominently on the front of the saw. A bevel gauge, centred between dual front cranks is accurate to a half-degree, allowing for precise adjustment, control and cut accuracy. The dual cranks also provide for smooth operation and the ability to lock controls from moving during cut passes.
As opposed to crawling inside the cabinet for adjustments, the blade bevel can be fine-tuned from the cabinet’s front using two large Allen screws. Engineered with advanced table geometry, the new UNISAW delivers increased control in front of the blade.
