According to John O’Neill, vice president of McCloskey International, the appearance of the C50 Crusher, C44 Cone Crusher and R105 Screener at the National Heavy Equipment Show in Toronto generated quite a “positive buzz” in the equipment industry.
The C50 Crusher was developed using a clean sheet approach. It is a primary crusher with a completely new design, incorporating the durability and high performance of a stationary crusher in a portable unit that cements McCloskey’s proven reputation for designing quality, strongly built, class-leading machinery.
Featuring a 350-hp (261 kW) Tier III Caterpillar C9 engine, with an innovative hydraulic system and a 50-inch (1270 mm) wide industry-leading Telsmith Jaw, the C50 Crusher breaks new ground for Mc-Closkey. The standard, extended, 42-foot (12.8 m) main conveyor gives the C50 a large stockpile capacity, while its level hopper has a capacity of 8.9 cubic yards (6.8 cubic metres) and a gross hopper capacity of 13.3 cubic yards (10.2 cubic metres). The C50 Crusher’s user-friendly waterproof control panel provides operators with continuous machine diagnostics.
