McCloskey International's I-54 impactor was designed from the ground up to be the most productive track mounted impactor in the sub-50-ton, ‘one-piece-move’ class.
It features a 47” x 53” four bar horizontal impact chamber with a class leading 53.3” x 32.5” feed opening to allow for high production rates and large feed sizes.
An 8.9 cubic yard hopper with vibratory pan feeder flows material over a fully independent 4’-6” x 5’-9” double deck inclined pre-screen, removings fines in advance of the impact chamber.
Crushed material is discharged via a heavy duty, high energy pan feeder measuring 4’-6” x 6’-7” located under the impact chamber, reducing belt wear and greatly reducing the possibility of belt tears.
The I-54 is controlled by an easy to use PLC and many functions may be overridden if required using manual valves & flow controls. A 430hp C13 CAT ACERT engine supplies the power required for the high production rates attainable.
