Roadtec, Inc. introduces the latest addition to its line of milling machines.The RX-300e is a light and maneuverable milling machine with a base cutting width of 23.6” (600 mm) and the capability of cutting up to 12.5” (220 mm) deep.
The RX-300e is a 300 hp (224 kW) machine with a hydraulically driven cutter drum. The highly efficient hydraulic drum drive provides exceptional performance while reducing maintenance time.
A variety of cutter drum options are available for the RX-300e, including the VCS® Variable Cutter System. The VCS system allows for the change of cut width by only changing the drum.
A Cummins® QSL 9 300 horsepower (224 kW) Tier 4f compliant diesel engine powers the new mill. The RX-300e will replace the RX-400e model in the Roadtec line of milling machines.
The Guardian Remote Telematics system is also available with the RX-300e. With Guardian, the machine’s electrical system, hydraulic system, engine, pressure transducers, grade/slope control, and fuel consumption can be closely monitored in real-time via cellular signal. The Guardian system allows owners and service technicians to closely monitor the machine’s activity and easily troubleshoot the machine’s various systems. The Guardian system will automatically email all fault codes and maintenance reminders.
