The GIPORec Giga 100 and 131 FDR track impactors from Swiss manufacturer, Gipo AG, operate without the need for a computer. With a computer-run system, one faulty sensor could cause the entire component or system to shut down unnecessarily which costs time, production and revenue, the company says. On these machines, all equipment has hand operated flow controls for activation and speed settings. Gipo machines are built to run long-term with many operating 20,000 to 45,000+ hours.
Blow bars on these machines can be flipped in under 30 minutes, and both upper and lower aprons can be hydraulically adjusted. The traditional method of adjustment is an oversized wrench, manpower and a whole lot of elbow grease. With Gipo, the adjustment is simply a push button. No extended man hours being spent, just a quick push and you’re back in business, the company said.
All Gipo machines are available with a hopper and scalping pre-screen to eliminate finer material from entering the impactor, providing increased efficiency and throughput while allowing fine tuning options with the screen. An additional user benefit is the easily removable scalp screen and power radial recirculating conveyor which creates a closed circuit so there is no material waste and the removable components create hassle free transport. The Gipo equipment may also be ordered with a secondary split and power stacker to increase production to four products in varying sizes from a single machine.
Gipo impactors utilize rotor speed, by increasing the weight of the outer diameter of the rotor and flywheel, to maintain power and speed when feeding in more substantial material up to 30 inches.
