Multiquip, a diverse manufacturer and supplier of world class quality products and equipment solutions has reintroduced the popular MQ Mikasa MRH800GS.
The popular walk-behind MQ Mikasa MRH800GS has been redesigned to meet the needs of today’s construction professional. It still has the 5300 pounds of compaction force and 3300 vibrations per minute. The narrow profile designs allow for less than one inch side clearance for the 26.5” drums. The dual sprinkler controls wet each drum individually.
“This easy to maintain roller has a hydrostatic drive that eliminates drive belts and related adjustments. The bearings are permanently lubricated, so they don’t need to be checked,” stated Stevan Garcia, Product Manager for Compaction Products at Multiquip. “The vibrator assembly is externally mounted for easy access as well.”
The operator has full control with infinite variable speed control while moving the equipment forward or in reverse. The deadman safety control stops the roller the instant the operator takes his hands off the control levers.
The new design includes an updated handle for improved operator comfort and it folds up 90 degrees for easy transportation and storage. There is also a new hour/tachometer display showing runtime and engine RPM.
