Snorkel launches new compact telehandler, scissor lift and mast lift at World of Concrete
Snorkel had a large presence at the annual World of Concrete trade show at their booth shared with sister company, Xtreme Manufacturing.
Snorkel showcased 14 aerial lifts at the booth, including a rebuilt AB60J articulated boom lift, a production version of the new Snorkel 660SJ mid-size telescopic boom lift, and popular core models including the Snorkel S3370RT compact rough terrain scissor lift, and a selection of electric slab scissor lifts, as well as three brand new launches.
Snorkel debuted a new compact telehandler for the U.S. market at the show, the Snorkel SR5719. Capable of lifting up to 5,732 pounds (2,599 kg), with a maximum lift height of 19 feet (5.79 m) and a maximum forward reach of 10 feet 4 inches (3.14 m), this telehandler is an ideal lift for contractors, as it can be easily transported and delivers high levels of operator comfort. This compact unit features a Tier 4 Final Yanmar engine, and weighs just 10,360 pounds (4,700 kg).
Alongside the new Snorkel telehandler, the brand new Snorkel S3215L lightweight electric scissor lift made its debut at World of Concrete. Designed to deliver the same heavy-duty durability of a construction-tough electric slab scissor lift, the S3215L has been strategically designed to deliver a much lower overall weight and floor loading than a conventional scissor lift. This has been achieved by using lighter weight materials, such as aluminum, where possible without compromising the stability and durability of the lift. With a maximum working height of 15 feet (4.57 m), this lift weighs just 2,100 pounds (952 kg) and has a floor loading of just 195 psf at maximum capacity, which is 670 pounds (303 kg).
The new Snorkel TM16E is the larger version of the Snorkel TM12E launched at The Rental Show in 2017. The Snorkel TM12E is an electric drive version of the original TM12 self-propelled telescopic mast lift, that now incorporates a zero inside turning radius and a roll-out deck extension as standard. The Snorkel TM16E is capable of reaching a maximum working height of up to 22 feet (6.7 m), with a platform capacity of 500 pounds (227 kg), while retaining the same compact dimensions of the TM12 and weighing in at just 2,360 pounds (1,070kg).
All three of the new lifts are backed by Snorkel's two year parts and labour, and five-year structural warranty as standard, and will be on display at The Rental Show 2018 in New Orleans, Louisiana from February 19 – 21, 2018.
