Ammann has introduced the ART 35 Tier 4i, a light, pivot-steered pneumatic-tired roller. With an operating weight of 3,200 kg, the ART 35 T4i is the lightest pneumatic roller in the Ammann lineup. The machine design is compact, with a length of 3,260 mm and a width of 1,540 mm. The design provides stability, maneuverability and ground access to service points.

The pneumatic tires make it productive on diverse materials, particularly those that require a "kneading" effect to aid compaction and the sealing of asphalt surfaces. The roller utilizes two axles, each with four tires, and a wide steering angle for the ultimate in maneuverability, even in tight spaces. The machine utilizes synchronized steering of the front and rear axle for easy operation and precise surface coverage.

An oil-cooled Deutz engine meets interim emissions standards while providing the necessary power. The engine is efficient and quiet.

The ART 35 T4i features intuitive control and handling, helping even unskilled operators be productive. Control switches are installed on the dashboard in front of the operator, making them easy to see and reach. A sliding operator seat boosts comfort and visibility.

A three-stage filtration system with a large water tank extends intervals between fillings, helping the roller keep pace on asphalt paving jobs. A double-drive lever provides smooth starts and stops – also essential when working on asphalt.

All service points are easy to access. A reduction in service points adds even more time-saving convenience.

Applications include small- and medium-sized compaction jobsites, road construction projects and industrial sites.
