With the announcement of the all-new Mark74 Series, Gehl introduces a range of 74 hp telescopic handlers for the North American Market. These new units follow the same standards as any Gehl machine, with the same capacities as their RS Series Gen:3 counterparts, with the exception of a 74hp engine that eliminates the need for after treatment fluid.
The all-new Mark74 option will be available on the following Gehl telescopic handler models: RS6-42, RS8-42, RS8-44 and RS10-55. Each comes standard with a Cummins QSF 3.8L engine, Tier 4 classification, 4-speed powershift transmission and 295 lb-ft. (400 Nm) engine torque. All lifting capacities and ranges will remain the same as the RS Gen:3 Series, with the added capability of the 74hp engine and DOC only exhaust treatment system.
Developed from the proven RS (Rental Special) Series, the Mark74 Series is powered with a Tier-IV 74 hp (55 kW) Cummins turbocharged diesel engine providing 295 ft.-lbs. (400 Nm) of torque at 2500 rpm. This best in class engine is coupled with a Dana 4-speed powershift transmission allowing full-time 4-wheel drive, 3 steering modes and machine travel speeds up to 15 miles per hour.
All Gehl Mark74 telescopic handlers come standard with single joystick control with travel direction. This gives the operator the power to control boom extension and retraction, attachment tilt, auxiliary hydraulics, and forward/neutral/reverse all on the same joystick. With single joystick control, the operator can leave one hand on the steering wheel at all times and control all other machine functions with the other hand. The new Gehl Mark74 Telescopic Handler Series is ideal for customers looking for a rental machine with less maintenance and less overall cost to maintain. The Mark74 Series is your solution to improve the return on rental equipment investment
