Skyjack to showcase prototype scissor and new telematics solution at Intermat
Skyjack has been operating in the global access equipment industry for over 30 years. As a company who built their foundation upon scissors, their product offerings have increased over the years to include articulating and telescopic booms, as well as telehandlers in the North American market. Their team is excited to participate in Intermat in Paris this April and will bring a full fleet of products to the event including a prototype of the next generation in Skyjack DC scissors.
"The growing diversity in our product offerings has given Skyjack the ability to increase our presence across the globe," said Malcolm Early, vice president of marketing at Skyjack. "The industry and its demands are changing and we're changing with it, but at the end of the day it's just finding new ways to keep Skyjack products simply reliable."
Skyjack's prototype of the new SJ4740 features a new pothole protection design, control box, SkyCoded updates, and a single switch electronic e-lowering mechanism.
"It's important to us that we showcase our products first-hand at international shows. It gives us the opportunity to not only display the full functionality of our products, but also give attendees a tangible, and informational experience," Early explains.
In addition to their traditional product lineup, Skyjack will also showcase ELEVATE, their new telematics solution. Telematics has been offered to the off-highway industry for some time now, however the adoption rate isn't what it could be. The Skyjack solution is powered by industry leader Trackunit and has been designed with key features in mind specifically for off-highway fleets.
Skyjack will exhibit in the lifting, handling, and transportation sector at Booth E5 K 037.
