Minnich to introduce vibrator unit, technology enhancements at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2020
The back pack is a 20.5-pound vibrator unit designed to maximize operator comfort
Minnich Manufacturing will introduce enhancements to the A4SCW — an on-slab self-propelled wireless drill unit — with a new, easy to use remote control ICAN communication system at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2020.
The ICAN System advances drilling technology by diagnosing problems through an iPad on the jobsite and communicating directly to the manufacturer, eliminating costly service calls.
Running on a 24-volt, the ICAN System is compatible with most large air compressors. The new remote features joystick controls speed, steering, direction of travel and a dust collection on/off switch to enhance safety and productivity on the jobsite. Safety is increased through a new magnetic feed sensor that doesn't allow the drill to travel if the slider is not completely retracted due to drill steel becoming stuck in the concrete.
The back pack — a 20.5-pound vibrator unit designed to maximize operator comfort, mobility and productivity during concrete consolidation — will also be introduced. Driven by a Honda 50 cc motor for reliable performance, the back pack is equipped with many new features, including a removeable throttle assembly which enables operators to relocate the throttle for easy and comfortable operation. All core/casings and vibrator heads are interchangeable between all Minnich gas-powered and electric flex shaft units with the true universal quick disconnect system, giving contractors equipment flexibility.
