Engcon introduced attendees of CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2020 to the newest innovation in excavation technology: the tiltrotator.
Engcon's tiltrotator—a component often described as a flexible wrist between the arm of the excavator and its buckets—enables an excavator to rotate a bucket 360 degrees and tilt up to 45 degrees.
Now considered the industry standard throughout most western European regions, the tiltrotator technology is still novel in the North Americas—representing approximately 1 percent market penetration.
