Boston Dynamics' robot dog, Spot, garnered a lot of attention at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2020, where it was demoed at the Trimble booth. Now the AI canine has another job – patrolling Singapore parks to enforce social distancing during the coronavirus pandemic.
According to Boston Dynamics, Spot is also being tested in a Boston hospital where it is used as a mobile telemedicine platform. Spot allows medical staff to remotely triage patients, reducing their risk of exposure to COVID-19.
Earlier this year, we reported on Spot's deployment on a Pomerleau jobsite in Montreal. For that project, Spot is outfitted with HoloBuilder to track progress and quality.
