Bobcat's largest excavator features four selectable power modes to give operators adaptable performance
Bobcat's largest excavator, the E165, is ideal for heavy digging and lifting tasks on building sites, in underground utility applications, and road and bridge projects. Operating weight is 19 tons.
This conventional tail swing, 131-hp machine has four selectable power modes to give operators adaptable performance: Power+ mode for top work group speed or sustained peak performance; Power mode for tough digging, quick loading, heavy lifting and fast travel; Standard power mode for balanced performance and reduced fuel use in routine digging, lifting and grading; and Economy mode for optimizing fuel use for when power demand is low or during precise digging and fine grading.
According to Bobcat, hydraulics on the E165 provide reliable, steady power to the large excavator work group, saving excavator operators time with every digging cycle. The E165 also excels at lifting, enabling operators to move items with ease, and provides more slew torque for slewing uphill, backfilling and all-around productivity.
The X-Frame Undercarriage on the E165 increases ground clearance and maneuverability in softer ground conditions. Sloped surfaces shed debris to prevent material buildup reducing need to clear buildup from the undercarriage.
