Astec celebrates 50 years of manufacturing roadbuilding and aggregate processing equipment
Astec Industries, Inc. is celebrating 50 years of designing and manufacturing heavy equipment. As part of its celebration and to honour the legacy of its founder, Dr. J. Don Brock, Astec is committing $1 million to the Dr. J Don Brock Astec Industries Memorial Scholarship Endowment established at the University of Tennessee Foundation. Awarded to children and grandchildren of current employees, the scholarship endowment is designed to encourage the study of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).

Rental revenue projected to reach $55.9 billion in 2022 despite uncertain indicators
Economic indicators are mixed and uncertain, but all continue to point toward significant growth for equipment rental revenue in the U.S. according to the latest quarterly update of the five-year forecast released by the American Rental Association (ARA). The update projects equipment rental revenue, including the construction and general tool segments, to grow 11.2 percent to reach nearly $55.9 billion in 2022. The ARA expects growth in equipment rental revenue to continue throughout 2026.

Doosan delivers first crawler dozer to Best Line Equipment in Pennsylvania
Doosan Infracore North America has delivered the first Doosan crawler dozer, a DD100, to equipment dealer Best Line Equipment in Pennsylvania. The nine-metric-ton machine is among the first Doosan dozers to arrive in North America, and it's the first DD100 to be delivered to a contractor: Ratoskey and Trainor. Best Line Equipment transported the first Doosan DD100 dozer from its Allentown, Pennsylvania, location to Ratoskey and Trainor on August 4.
