The set-up of bauma's outdoor area of the Munich exhibition grounds is well underway and visitors can check out a live webcam showing the outdoor exhibition grounds under construction. On October 11, other exciting segments will start their set-up phase in the 18 halls.
More than 3,100 exhibitors from around 60 countries
bauma expects more than 3,100 exhibitors from around 60 countries. The trade show is spread over a total of 614,000 square meters (the same as roughly 86 soccer fields), split into 41,400 square meters of outdoor space and 200,000 square meters of hall space.
More than 30 cranes make up the crane forest
In addition to numerous excavators, dump trucks, asphalting machines, and mixing towers, when bauma opens its doors on October 24, participants can also once again look forward to the famous "crane forest" with more than 30 cranes.
Construction images and webcam
Visitors can see a few pictures showing what the outdoor area of bauma currently looks like during construction, how small the large machines and systems are before they are assembled, and how extensive some stand constructions are. Meanwhile, the bauma webcam offers an all-around overview of the current outdoor area.
