Lighter, easier to transport Kubota compact excavator joins KX series lineup
The Kubota KX030-4 is the latest addition to its KX Series of compact excavators. The KX030-4 is part of Kubota's 2- to 3-ton segment. The machine has been lightened to make trailering and transport between job sites easier and offers greater breakout and lifting force. An auto-downshift feature allows the operator to travel at 2nd speed and make turns without having to manually downshift, increasing job site travel speed.

JCB's hydrogen combustion engine to make international debut
JCB is set to showcase its hydrogen combustion technology on the international stage for the first time ever with a debut in North America. The wraps will come off JCB's brand new hydrogen combustion engine – the company's zero-carbon emissions solution for construction and agricultural equipment – at CONEXPO 2023 as part of the International Fluid Power Exposition (IFPE) booth.

Mack brightens up Granite vocational truck with new look and LED headlights
Mack has debuted a refreshed version of the Mack Granite vocational truck at World of Concrete 2023. The truck comes with an updated chrome grille and self-heating LED headlamps that offer brighter illumination. The new LED technology is designed to fully illuminate the road and job site, including the driver and passenger sides of the vehicle. The brighter lights help to reduce eye fatigue while letting operators detect objects sooner. Safety is also improved during daylight driving through new, integrated amber daytime running lights that double as turn signals.

Asphalt compactor becomes first Volvo electric machine for roadbuilding
Volvo Construction Equipment will have another electric debut at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2023 – its first electric machine for the roadbuilding sector. The DD25 Electric double-drum asphalt compactor will make its first appearance at the event in March. The DD25 is based on the same technology and components as Volvo's ECR25 Electric compact excavator and the L25 Electric compact wheel loader. The DD25 is zero-emission and is ideal for job sites that are strict with emissions regulations or contractors aiming to reduce the emissions of their operation.
