The C-1550+ Tracked Cone Crusher being debuted by Finlay at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2023 has proven itself in the prototype and testing phases of development to be a high-capacity option for operations in surface ore mining and aggregates.
At the heart of the unit is the upgraded Terex 1300X cone crusher, which has been designed with service and safety in mind. The chamber has been engineered with a mechanical design and common upper frame that is compatible with all liner configurations to maximize uptime and ease of maintenance. The power pack is accessible on both sides from large catwalks and the engine isolator can be tagged out to contribute to safe maintenance of the machine. The hopper is folded hydraulically and locked in place from ground level to provide efficient setup and teardown.
Finlay are also presenting the 696 3-deck tracked inclined screener, the first time it has been exhibited at a trade show in North America. This machine is the largest triple deck screener in the Finlay range and has been engineered to provide a superior high production, precise screening solution in quarrying, mining, sand and gravel, coal, woodchip and topsoil applications. The machine is fitted with a high energy screenbox that features three full size 20-foot x 5-foot 7-inch (6.1m x 1.7m) decks to give a total screening area of 335 square feet (31.1 square metres).
