SAKAI America has announced a record-breaking revenue growth amid continued expansion of its North American asphalt roller and soil compactor production capacity.
The company reported revenue growth of more than 16 percent through its fiscal year, mostly achieved by significant growth in both overall machine sales and domestic production. Total machine shipments were up by 10.8 percent compared to the previous year, following on a record number of shipments in fiscal year 2023.
SAKAI America's Adairsville, Georgia, facility has been busier than ever, aiding in the increase of domestically produced machines. 28.8 percent more rollers were built in the facility, a significant jump, and compared to the pre-pandemic high, domestic production has jumped 69 percent in four years. At this point, more than half of all new SAKAI rollers sold in the United States and Canada are now built domestically.
"This achievement wouldn't be possible without the unwavering support of our dedicated dealer network and loyal contractor customers," said Brad Belvin, Manager of Sales & Marketing at SAKAI America. "Their trust in our brand and commitment to quality has fueled this exceptional growth."
The surge in domestic production is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the SAKAI America team. "We're incredibly grateful for the tremendous effort put in by the men and women on our assembly line," said Kevin McClain, VP of Operations. "Their commitment to excellence has made this record-breaking production possible."
