Canadian Rental Association launches Canadian Rental Week to celebrate the industry
From October 15-18, 2024, the nationwide event will highlight the benefits, careers, and relationships of the rental industry
Canadian Rental Week by The Canadian Rental Association (CRA) is a nationwide initiative designed to raise awareness of the rental industry and celebrate its significant contributions to Canada's economy. The event, which aligns with global Rental Weeks as part of CRA's collaboration with the Global Rental Alliance, will take place from October 15 to October 18, 2024.
Canadian Rental Week key thematic lines
The week-long event will focus on three key themes aimed at engaging industry professionals, consumers, and potential new talent:
1. #WhyRent
The social media campaign highlights the benefits of renting, to encourage consumers and businesses to embrace rental solutions. Participants are invited to share and repost content on Facebook and LinkedIn to amplify the message that renting is a smart and sustainable choice.
2. #CareersInRental
In order to showcase the rental industry as a fantastic career path, CRA is calling on individuals to share 30-second video clips explaining how they started in the industry or offering advice for newcomers. These clips will be featured in a national campaign targeting colleges, employment agencies, and industry associations.
3. #RelationshipsInRental
To celebrate the camaraderie within the rental industry, CRA is collecting stories of meaningful connections formed between peers and competitors. These stories will be shared on social media, the CRA website, and in future newsletters, highlighting the collaborative spirit that defines the industry.
Networking is the order of the day
To further mark the occasion, CRA will host an Open House at its head office in Stoney Creek, Ontario, on October 16th from 4 PM to 7 PM. This event will offer networking opportunities for rental professionals, partners, and industry leaders, helping to foster new relationships and strengthen existing ones.
