Mack Trucks’ fleet management portal enhances performance, safety, and efficiency of fleets

Mack Connect is Mack Trucks' comprehensive fleet management portal, which aims to enhance how fleets manage their Mack-powered trucks by providing visibility into vehicle health and performance. The portal offers access to asset location, idle time, traffic information, fuel efficiency, safety performance, and vehicle speed, and inputs this data into a unified dashboard designed to simplify operations and increase profitability.

Positive feedback for the portal from a real customer perspective

This week at the American Trucking Associations Management Conference and Exhibition at Nashville's Music City Center, one of Mack Trucks' customers explained why his company finds the Mack Connect technology valuable. 

Maryland-based Cowan Systems specializes in dedicated truckload, intermodal, warehousing, brokerage, and driver staffing; operating approximately 25 Mack Anthem day cabs and sleepers, primarily along the East Coast.

Mack's integrated telematics solution

Mack Connect offers visibility to the Mack GuardDog Connect integrated telematics solution, allowing customers to manage fault events and access over-the-air updates when available. The platform's reporting and analytics capabilities are designed to enable customers to make data-driven decisions to improve their return on investment and fleet management.

"Mack Connect has been a huge benefit to us. It's simple, not confusing, and the analytics are excellent and accurate," Webber said. "We've tested them against our own analytics. We've been able to pinpoint exactly what they said and what they're calculating so we know that they're very, very accurate.
