Superior Industries, a U.S.-based manufacturer and global supplier of bulk material processing and handling systems, released version 7.2 of Vantage Automation for its cone crusher control platform.

According to the company, the updated platform is designed to work with Patriot and Dakota cone crushers. The new version will allow easy data gathering for diagnostics and improved user experience while maintaining the one-button start-stop functionality.

Updates on Vantage Automation v7.2

Several new features on the software have been added to increase user experience and improve diagnostic capabilities. These include redesigned screens to assist with navigation graphics and individual solenoid testing with improved data recording to enhance troubleshooting accuracy and visibility, reducing downtime and maintenance costs.

Also, integrated solenoid testing will eliminate the need for external tools as diagnostics will be available directly on the touchscreen.

Vantage Automation v7.2 will be added to all new factory machines beginning in January 2025. Existing machines can be retrofitted with the upgraded software.

"This update underscores the value of strong relationships with dealers and customers," said Jarrod Adcock, crushing equipment product manager at Superior Industries. "The improvements are a direct result of their feedback, which is vital to the continuous improvement of Superior's products."
