MEC Aerial Work Platforms' lineup of mobile elevated work platforms (MEWPs) at The ARA Show 2025 in Las Vegas is centered around a commitment to improvements in the industry. MEC's newest award-winning equipment showcases enhanced engineering designs while prioritizing safety, advanced technology, and reduced total cost of ownership.

MEC's range of boom lifts, scissor lifts, and vertical mast lifts are on display at this year's ARA show. The MEC Micro series has been extended to 14 models; the largest line of micro scissor lifts available in the North American market.

A wide range of scissor lifts at the tradeshow:

Micro 2032 slab scissor lift

Setting a new benchmark with an 800-pound lift capacity, the MEC Micro 2032 is designed for demanding job sites. The fixed guardrails keep its overall height under 79 inches, allowing the machine to navigate tight spaces and single doorways.

Standard with dual material racks, one on each side of the platform, and equipped with MEC's patented Leak Containment System (LCS), this scissor lift ensures working heights of up to 26 feet.

Micro 26-XD slab scissor lift

The tallest in its class, MEC's Micro 26-XD comes fitted with the Xtra-Deck which allows 20 additional inches of platform height to reach tight overhead areas. It allows driving at full height for faster operations.

Also, its 74-inch length — nearly two feet shorter than other 26-foot scissor lifts — allows for maneuverability in tight spaces. The Micro 26-XD features MEC's patented Leak Containment System (LCS) as a standard feature.

MEC 3232SE slab scissor lift

According to the company, MEC's 3232SE is the industry's only 32-foot slim scissor with the ability to drive at full height and eliminates the need for outriggers. With a 38-foot working height on a 32-inch-wide chassis, it provides enhanced access in narrow-aisle applications.

Its eco-friendly AC electric drive and standard AGM batteries reduce emissions and costs while ensuring longer duty cycles. MEC's LCS also comes standard with the 3232SE, offering additional value.

MEC offers more alternatives for rental contractors to diversify their boom fleet:

DualReach 60-J diesel boom

This boom lift offers increased versatility which allows operators to seamlessly switch between telescopic and articulated modes. With its 2-in-1 design, the DualReach 60-J replaces the need to rent two boom lifts, improving utilization and cutting delivery costs.

Featuring a 66-foot working height, 6-foot jib, and dual capacity of 600 pounds unrestricted and 900 pounds restricted. The DualReachTM 65-J is also available at 71 feet of working height.

66-RJ diesel telescopic boom

The MEC 66-RJ offers a 72-foot working height and a 56-foot outreach with both conventional vertical jib motion and horizontal jib motion for increased dexterity. It features a maximum, restricted capacity of 900 pounds and an unrestricted capacity of 600 pounds.

The three steering modes of 2WS/4WS/Crab steering ensure the machine can be precisely positioned on the job site. The optional Xtra-Deck provides 20 inches of additional height for limited access overhead applications.

Additional equipment shown at the trade show includes:

  • MMAE16 All-Electric Vertical Mast Lift
  • MME25 Steel Vertical Mast Lift
  • Nano10-XD All-Electric Scissor Lift
  • Micro19-XD Scissor Lift
  • 34-J Telescopic Diesel Boom Lift
  • 40-AJ Articulated Boom Lift
  • DualReachTM 85-J Diesel Boom Lift

MEC commits to job site productivity

"We are proud to share our latest innovations at The ARA Show 2025," said Gary Crook, vice president of engineering. "Our featured equipment reflects MEC's commitment to listening to our customers and delivering solutions that redefine job site productivity and sustainability."
