John Deere now offers extended transmission coverage on select large wheel loaders

John Deere has introduced the transmission assurance coverage for its 844 P-Tier and 904 P-Tier wheel loaders. This new program provides up to five years or 15,000 hours of coverage on eligible 844 P-Tier and 904 P-Tier models for warrantable transmission repairs. 

Eligible machines include 844 P-Tier and 904 P-Tier units with product identification numbers ending in 09263 or higher and purchased prior to December 31, 2026.

Specifics of the large wheel loader assurance program 

Along with the new transmission assurance for the 844 P-Tier and 904 P-Tier, John Deere remains committed to supporting its large production-class equipment with a portfolio of assurance programs, including the 944 X-Tier and existing ADT transmission warranty offerings. 

These programs support its contractors with reliable coverage to help minimize downtime and maximize productivity, reinforcing the company's dedication to helping operators succeed in critical environments.

The program provides 100 percent of the cost of warrantable transmission repairs for machines with 0 to 10,000 hours. For machines with between 10,001 and 12,500 hours, coverage is 50 percent of the cost of warrantable repairs. For machines with between 12,501 and 15,000 hours, coverage is 25 percent of the cost of warrantable repairs.
