Liebherr to exhibit earthmoving machines at World of Asphalt/AGG1 2025

Liebherr's earthmoving product specialists will be on-site showcasing the L 566 XPower wheel loader, the TA 230 articulated dump truck, and the R 914 compact crawler excavator at the 2025 World of Asphalt show in St. Louis, Missouri. 

TA 230 articulated dump truck

Liebherr's TA 230 provides power and efficiency for rugged off-road use for the North American market. Equipped with an automatic 8-speed powershift transmission, a D956 diesel engine, and a payload of 61,700 lbs, the TA 230 is designed to max out performance on the job site.

Service points are easy to access from a standing area and feature a smart machine check-up that automatically runs a series of tests providing operators an ease-of-mind. With a range of assistance systems, operators will find enhanced safety, productivity, and support through Liebherr's weighing unit, automatic traction control, hill start assistance, speed maintenance assistance, hard stop, and height lift limitations.

The angled bonnet design for the TA 230 offers clear visibility while offering easy access to the 6-cylinder engine with 12-liter displacement and 265 kW/360 HP to stage V emission standards. The TA 230 can reach a top speed of 35 mph forward and 10 mph in reverse.

L 566 XPower wheel loader

Liebherr's L 566 XPower wheel loader is a productive and versatile machine equipped to handle aggregate, asphalt, and pavement projects. The XPower machine concept combines performance, fuel efficiency, and operator comfort. With two drives, hydrostatic and mechanical, operators are able to work on faster cycles, carry heavy material loads, and use different arm variations.

With a tipping load of 30,070 lbs and an operating weight of 57,209 lbs, the XPower wheel loader offers enhanced pushing power. The machine runs on a 203-kW/272-hp engine to finish the toughest aggregate jobs. 

Inside the modern cab design, operators can concentrate on the wheel loader angle with innovative joystick steering while keeping an eye on the entire job site with the angled bonnet, adjustable touchscreen, and large windshield.

R 914 compact crawler excavator

The R 914 compact excavator is small enough for narrow projects and job sites like urban applications or motorways. Built on an X-frame undercarriage and equipped with a US EPA Tier 4 Final engine with an SCR system and diesel oxidation catalyst, this compact machine offers precise capabilities. The R 914 offers a long lifespan, a variety of tools and teeth, and a short tail swing radius of 1.55 m that focuses on safety for the operator and the machine.

Compact service points on the R 914 are accessible from the ground level, providing a clear path to the machine's outlets, engine, and safety checkpoints so operators can spend more time tackling asphalt and aggregate projects.
