Niftylift is set to introduce its hydrogen-electric HR17 H2E to a global audience at bauma 2025 in Munich, Germany. The HR17 H2E, launched in 2024, will take its place among eight Niftylift machines displayed at the event. This marks the first time the HR17 H2E will appear at an international trade show.

The HR17 H2E is designed to support contractors looking for low-emission equipment to meet sustainability goals. Equipped with an onboard hydrogen fuel cell, the machine operates with zero emissions and produces water vapour as its only by-product. The power configuration design allows for extended run times, even in areas where charging infrastructure is limited.

Niftylift's European Sales Manager, Marcel Schepers, says the company is excited to present the new machine at bauma and emphasizes the company's focus on providing compact, low-weight platforms for productivity and versatility.

Expanding the lineup

Niftylift will also debut the HR22SE, the company's first stick-boom self-propelled platform at bauma 2025. Launched in late 2024, the HR22SE is designed for straightforward operation with a working height of 21.7 metres and a working outreach of 18.8 metres. Its compact design, with a tail swing of just 0.55 metres, makes it well-suited for tight or congested job sites.

Here is an overview of the full lineup of mobile elevating work platforms to be presented at bauma 2025, including a mix of hybrid, all-electric, and trailer-mounted models:

  • HR12 4x4 (Hybrid): HR12 4x4 (Hybrid): A compact second-generation hybrid model with a 12.1-metre working height, the HR12 4x4 also offers an electric-only mode for minimal noise and emissions.
  • HR17N (All-Electric): A narrow, electric articulated boom offering a 17-metre working height and an EU Stage V-compliant engine, the HR17N is ideal for indoor use or noise-sensitive environments.
  • HR17 H2E (Hydrogen-Electric): Delivering a 17-metre working height, this zero-emissions machine, powered by hydrogen fuel cells, can operate for more than 5 days on a single charge.
  • HR21E (All-Electric): This articulated boom provides a 20.8-metre working height and a 13-metre working outreach while accommodating two workers plus tools.
  • HR22SE (All-Electric): A self-propelled stick-boom platform with a 21.7-metre working height and 18.8-metre outreach, this machine is designed for straightforward operation.
  • HR28 4x4 (Hybrid or Battery-only): With a larger platform and a 28-metre working height, the HR28 4x4 is equipped with Niftylift's Diesel Re-Gen system to rapidly charge onboard batteries when the machine is idling.

Niftylift will also display two trailer-mounted units:

  • Nifty 120T: A compact machine with a 12.2-metre working height.
  • Nifty 150T: A trailer-mounted unit with a 14.7-metre working height.
