Jardine Auctioneers joins Euro Auctions Group

The Euro Auctions Group has increased its presence in Canada with the addition of Jardine Auctioneers Inc. to its network. Effective immediately, Jardine Auctioneers has officially joined the Euro Auctions Group, following the addition of Canadian-based Michener Allen Auctioneers in October 2023. This move expands Euro Auctions' national coverage in Canada and strengthens its position in North America's heavy equipment and vehicle auction markets.

Expanding through established industry partnerships

Based in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Jardine Auctioneers operates from a 10-acre yard on a 139-acre site and conducts over 100 auctions annually. Founded in 1982 by Frank and John Jardine, Jardine Auctioneers has maintained strong industry relationships and customer loyalty across both public and private sectors. The company has built a solid reputation in Atlantic Canada through consistent service in automotive, commercial vehicle, and industrial construction equipment sales. With over 25 years of experience in the sector, Jardine Auctioneers brings an established buyer and seller base to the Euro Auctions Group.

This integration marks a strategic step in extending Euro Auctions' footprint to Eastern Canada, augmenting Michener Allen's operations in the western provinces. Michener Allen runs approximately 80 auctions annually from its facilities in Edmonton, Calgary, and Winnipeg, serving a diverse customer base across various sectors. The two Canadian auction companies have a long-standing professional relationship, having collaborated on joint ventures for over two decades.

Leveraging existing infrastructure to support expansion

Jardine Auctioneers' integration brings Euro Auctions' global network to 14 permanent sites spanning four continents, with the four locations currently operating across Canada. This growth supports the group's ongoing strategy to offer localized service with global reach, ensuring regional customers benefit from broader access to buyers, inventory, and market opportunities.

Jardine Auctioneers' operations include auction services and a transportation division that supports customers throughout New Brunswick. The company's infrastructure, including auction rooms, workshops, and ample equipment storage, is suited to manage high-volume, live auction events. Its management team, led by John Jardine and Blair Sissons, remains in place and will contribute to Euro Auctions' national management strategy within Canada.
