McCloskey celebrates 40 years of innovation in material processing

McCloskey International is celebrating 40 years of material processing. Over the past four decades, McCloskey has built a reputation on entrepreneurial drive, innovation, and commitment to contractor success. 

Success started with humble beginngings 

The company began in the early 1980s when Paschal McCloskey emigrated from Northern Ireland to Canada. Although it was a challenging time to start a career with few contacts during a global recession, he began working in conveyor manufacturing where he saw an opportunity in the market and began producing his own line of trommels. This bold move launched a successful business committed to innovating technology and creating new partnerships in the mobile screening and crushing industry. 

McCloskey's first line of trommels in the late 1980s drove steady growth, and by the early 2000s, the company had expanded its manufacturing operations across Northern Ireland, Canada, and Wisconsin. In Northern Ireland, the factory known as Granville is currently undergoing an extension to meet the demand for McCloskey machines, with the build expected to be completed later this year.

Darren McKnight, vice president of McCloskey International, emphasizes that McCloskey's success isn't just measured by its global footprint, but by the strength of its people and partnerships:
