Liebherr delivers 150-tonne excavator to Mineco

Liebherr-Australia celebrated its new partnership with Mineco — an Australian-based mining services provider — with the handing over of a brand-new R 9150 excavator. The delivery of this machine marks a milestone for Liebherr's commitment to working alongside the Australian mining market. This machine will be put to use at the Mount Arthur coal mine in New South Wales.

The commissioning of this excavator highlights Liebherr-Australia's growth in the 150-tonne class mining segment in Australia. Liebherr-Australia's Mount Thorley branch will provide Mineco and its new excavator with support, ensuring reliability on site.

Growth in the Australian mining sector 

In recent years, Mineco has grown and expanded its business so that it now has the capacity to provide solutions to its contractors that require mining equipment in the 150-tonne class.
