CASE Construction Equipment has debuted an electric compact wheel loader concept designed for remote operation and enhanced automation at this year's bauma event.

Impact (or CASE eCWL 12EV) features a dedicated control lounge, eliminating the need for a traditional operator cabin. This design enhances operator safety and comfort, especially in extreme environments or adverse weather conditions. It also improves job site accessibility, allowing operators with mobility limitations to fully control the machine — an important step forward in inclusive construction equipment design.

Equipped with an integrated perception system, Impact collects and analyzes real-time data to improve operational precision and efficiency. It also includes semi-autonomous functions, such as automated digging and dumping, which help increase productivity and reduce operator fatigue.
