High production trommel
The 621 track ‘n’ tow trommel is equipped with a tracked crawler undercarriage for self-transport. The undercarriage can also be retracted for long-distance towing on its conventional wheeled running gear.
Above the running gear, is identical to the conventional portable version, with all of McCloskey’s most recent enhancements. The unit is equipped with a “quick change” 6 foot by 21 foot drum, based on McCloskey’s patented Drum X-Change System. The new models feature a large 6.5-yard hopper with extra wide 42-inch direct-drive feed conveyors designed to prevent bridging. The 180-degree radial stacker has also been widened to 42 inches. Other changes include a larger drum drive, high-density drive wheels and new high-torque, high-flow hydraulics.
