Telescopic trailer-mounted booms
Three more models of articulated booms –the 3522A, 4527A and the 5533A – will be added to Bil-Jax’s Summit Series of trailer-mounted towable booms, introduced last year. These units offer 37 feet two inches; 45 feet zero inches; and 55 feet three inches of maximum platform height, respectively.
All units feature an automatic, self-lev-elling hydraulic outrigger system that allows for set-up in 30 seconds when all four outriggers are deployed simultaneously. The extra-large, non-marking outrigger footpads make these units ideal for indoor and outdoor applications.
The Summit Series towable booms can be transported by any standard half-ton pick-up truck and each unit has a 65 mph tow-speed rating. All Summit Series models have a 500-pound platform load capacity and large two-person platform.
