Crawler dozers deliver higher power and torque
Dressta’s new TD-25M Extra and TD-25M LA (Landfill Application) EXTRA series of crawler dozers feature an increase to 330 hp and an 11 percent increase in torque to 1,346 ft-lb. Maximum power is now attained at 1800 rpm, 300 rpm lower than previously, reducing overall noise levels. To absorb the higher power and torque at lower engine speeds, Dressta has revised the torque converter, hydraulic pump drives, and final drives. Also new is a gear range preselection system and an automatic downshift function which offers various automatic operating modes, especially useful in repetitive cyclical operations.
The TD-25M EXTRA has an operating weight of 79,873 pounds and blade capacity in soil up to 15 cubic yards, while the landfill version weighs approximately 86,000 pounds with blade capacities to 27.9 cubic yards.
