Combi roller can take the place of two compactors

The Caterpillar CB-214E and CB-224E vibratory asphalt compactors have compaction widths of 1000 mm (39 inch) and 1200 mm (47 inches), and operating weights of 2450 kg (5,400 pounds) and 2630 kg (5,800 pounds), respectively. The CB-225E model provides more versatility because of its combi configuration. It has a 1200 mm (47-inch) wide drum at the front, and the rear end is equipped with four smooth tires. It has an operating weight of 2300 kg (5,070 pounds). The combi roller can take the place of two compactors by providing the benefits of both a vibratory and a pneumatic compactor.

All three models have a high-frequency vibratory system that generates 63 Hz (3,780 vpm).
