The Stoltz Site Spreader SS 2518 is a trailer unit with a 25-ton capacity and a self-contained engine-hydraulic package with a computerized rate controller. It combines the hopper capacity of a truck-mounted spreader with the maneuverability of a trailer unit. Plus it can be pulled by anything with a hitch.
Model SS 2518 uses the 30-inch-wide drag chain from the original high-volume truck models but the engine package allows the Site Spreader to be pulled by a dozer instead of running off a tractor’s PTO.
