anair Manufacturing acquires Air-N-Arc™ All-In-One Power Systems™

Michigan City, Indiana, June 11, 2009 - Vanair Manufacturing is pleased to announce the company has reached an agreement for the acquisition of Air N Arc, Inc. Air N Arc operations will relocate to Vanair’s new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Michigan City, Indiana from their current facility in Hiawatha, Kansas. To assure a seamless transition President Vince Eck, Sales Manager Dean Strathman, and Production Manager Don Stone will be joining Vanair as part of the acquisition. Along with these key personnel, Vanair will maintain the current Air N Arc product line and dealer network. This will ensure that customers, dealers and distributors will experience no disruption in the support and service of Air N Arc products.

Air N Arc Mfg. has a complete line of Welder/Generator/Air Compressor/DC Booster combination packages that are specially tailored for the work truck industry. All of their All-In-One Power Systems are designed to mount into standard service bodies without body modification and allow the user easy access to controls and utilities. The systems include Gasoline, Diesel and Hydraulically driven systems.

With the addition of Air N Arc into the Vanair family of products, the company will now be able to offer products that meet all the features customers would need in the field.
