Drager was awarded with the 2007 Frost and Sullivan Consumer Award for respiratory protection, which honours the manufacturer that best fulfills the customer's needs in respiratory protection concerning the aspects of safety, ease of use, technical features, comfort, and design. The rating is given based on two studies from Frost & Sullivan concerning personal protective equipment. In these studies, both users and purchasers of equipment rated manufacturers on how satisfied they were with the products and solutions which the manufacturers offered for various segments. In the area of respiratory protection, the respiratory protective devices offered from Drager were rated first out of 11 manufacturers. Drager offers a portfolio of respiratory protection products including dust masks, half and full face masks, powered air purifying respirators, airline supplied systems, self-contained and closed circuit breathing apparatus as well as a complete range of filtering and supplied air escape equipment.
