The 28-hp 540 Puckett paver has an eight-foot basic screed width, and can pave widths as narrow as four feet and as wide as 12 feet. The larger 38-hp 560 paver has a 9-foot basic screed width, and paves from 4.5- to 13-foot widths. Hopper capacities are four and five tons, respectively, for the 540 and 560 models.
The screeds are heated from the exhaust, with optional propane heating. Dual controls and excellent maneuverability enable the operator to pave in tight areas. The folding wings on the 540 Model enable easy drive-on loading with minimal trailer space.
Depth adjustment of the mat is quick and simple, and side gates provide excellent flow to the extensions. The 560 has an independent auger pump and an enhanced screed extension. Dual hopper lift cylinders provide higher lift and stability. Sprocket drive and automatic tensioning of the track are standard.
Easy access to filter and grease points provide for quick maintenance. Walk-through operator platforms, with convenience auxiliary controls, make the right side operator friendly.
