Metabo Corporation has introduced a new demolition hammer that combines a powerful 15 A motor with Metabo VibraTech (MVT) technology. MVT reduces vibration and user fatigue due to its integrated damping system incorporated into the main and side handles. The MHE 96 SDS-Max Demolition Hammer is ideal for demolition in stone, concrete and brick, including sizing concrete openings for doors and windows, chasing cracks on floor repairs, wall chasing or embedding pipe and conduit into concrete or block walls. It is also useful for surface preparation and removal of over pour and splash in concrete work. The 15 A motor provides 0 to 1,950 bpm and one to 27 joules of single blow energy. Metabo’s vario tacho constamatic (VTC) electronic speed control enables the tool to maintain a virtually constant number of blows per minute between load and no-load, maximizing the productivity of the operator. An electronic soft start provides precise control from the moment work begins.
