The MAX RB655 Rebar Tying Tool is capable of tying up to #9 x #8 rebar by wrapping MAX 16-gauge TW1525 wire around the tying area, then cutting and twisting in approximately one second.
The RB655 replaces the MAX RB650A, and offers improvements over the earlier model. The life of the RB655 twisting motor is five times longer, and the tying times per charge are increased by 30 percent. As well, a PC board now controls the rotation of the RB655 twisting motor, enabling the tool to perform better at lower temperatures. The simple operation of the RB655 also decreases potential wrist damage, reducing Carpal Tunnel claims when workers use the rebar tools instead of tying by hand.
