HCI, provider of healthcare grade televisions and patient infotainment systems announced the addition of three new 22-inch televisions to its product line. HCI is adding: 22-inch Internet Protocol television (IPTV), 22-inch Digital television, and 22-inch Digital television with built-in DVD player to its family of LCD televisions. The 22-inch IPTV features built-in media player capabilities for patients, staff, and visitors to share movies, music, and pictures. Built-in thin client capabilities can allow patients to access the Internet without any extra equipment in the patient room; used in conjunction with HCI’s InnovaTV Patient Portal, patients gain access to surveys, gift shop and food ordering. The Ethernet-ready 22-inch IPTV is designed to exist on a network for file sharing via HCI MediaLink or HCI MediaCare software. The 22-inch IPTV is fully upgradeable and features keypad, pillow speaker, remote and computer integration.
