Designed and developed for the specific needs of Euro Disney, Merlo says that its MPR 15/18 high capacity manlift will soon revolutionize the manlift industry in Canada.
Manulift EMI – the Canadian importer with branches in Toronto, Montreal and Quebec City and Alberta – says that the new models, designed and certified for Canada, will arrive in the Fall of 2011.
Some features of the MPR 15/18 are:
- Speed of 40 km/h
- Basket with a 1,000kg (2,200-pound) capacity for six people
- Control/driving from the cab or the platform
- Height of 15 m or 18 m (50 feet to 60 feet)
- Platform rotates 360 degrees
- Hydro-pneumatic suspension with automatic levelling
- Class 1 hydrostatic transmission
Those new manlift models were introduced to several customers who immediately showed interest. Moreover, they are designed for several industries such as: quarries, mining, refineries, seaports, hydroelectric power plants and airports.
Merlo has sold more than 700 telehandlers in Canada in the last six years.
