Armadex is a top deck, extreme-duty screening solution made for tough scalping applications. This custom rubber screening product uses Binary Injection Molding (BIM) technology, a Polydeck manufacturing method that produces over ten times the pressure normally used to produce compression molded rubber. This process, along with a premium blend of natural gum rubber and high strength steel plate backing, produces a product of unprecedented strength and uniformity in its structure and composition from top to bottom and side to side, the company says. This means a longer wearing product for the lowest cost-per-ton investment.
The BIM process allows customization options not available in traditional bolt-down screen media. Standard screen section sizes are available up to 48 by 96 inches and section thicknesses (including the steel backing) range from 2 inches up to 4 inches in ½-inch increments. Aperture sizes, shapes and locations and bolt hole locations can all be customized to specific machines and applications.
Armadex screen sections can be bolted to an existing deck frame or installed with Polydeck’s versatile PipeTop II frame. They are best suited for scalping, finish sizing and trommel applications.
