Magnum Trailer & Equipment Inc., a manufacturer and service provider for heavy duty trucks and trailers, has completed its first install of snow plow rigs for two of Fort Garry Industries (FGI) Western Star 4700 trucks. FGI supplies hundreds of plow and spreader rig ups every year for snow and ice removal throughout Western Canada.
Magnum's rig out department was provided with the design concept, snow plow components and hydraulics from Rexroth prior to the truck delivery to ensure a streamlined install. Joe Muzyka, VP Operations for Magnum Trailer & Equipment said, "We were able to complete a quick turnaround in part due to the great knowledgeable team at FGI and also the ease of the hydraulic installation that came with plug and play electronics and diagnostics." The electrical system has user friendly controls for easy operation that will improve swift and thorough snow removal.

Magnum's rig out department does a variety of accessory installations, truck body builds, frame shortening and lengthening, as well as designs and installs a variety of hydraulic systems.
